children/teen mental health and wellness
Child and teen mental health services aim to boost emotional well-being and address mental health concerns. These services include individual counseling, group therapy, wellness courses, and support groups. Counselors use evidence-based techniques like cognitive-behavioral therapy, play therapy, art therapy and more to help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, and other conditions.
adult mental health and wellness
The Village Organization provides mental health and wellness services for adults to address various concerns and enhance overall well-being. Our licensed therapists offer individual counseling and courses covering issues like anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, and relationships. We also provide group therapy sessions on topics like stress management, mindfulness, and emotional intelligence. Our holistic and client-centered approach considers each person's unique needs and circumstances.
parent education and family strengthening
The Village Organization provides coaching for families and parents to enhance healthy communication, foster healthy child development, strengthen family bonds & positive relationships, and overall family well-being. Our coaches offer individual and family counseling sessions to help parents improve parenting skills and strengthen relationships with their children. We also conduct group classes and workshops on effective parenting strategies, stress management, and communication skills.
support for justice impacted youth
We understand that justice involvement can have a significant impact on a young person's mental health and overall wellbeing. Our goal is to provide support and resources to help justice-impacted youth navigate their experiences and find positive pathways forward. We offer individual counseling services, various therapies and mentorship programs to help youth build coping skills, address trauma, and develop positive relationships. We also work closely with community partners to provide access to educational and vocational training opportunities.
mentoring & support
At The Village Organization, we provide mentoring services to support the mental health and well-being of youth. We offer one-on-one and group sessions, along with workshops on stress management, building self-esteem, and developing life and coping skills. Our aim is to create a safe space for students to tackle challenges, helping them build the skills necessary for success in academics and life. We collaborate with parents and school staff to ensure students receive the needed support to thrive.
financial, career & education resources
We offer support in finance, education, and career to help people in our community achieve their financial goals and career success. We provide financial education & coaching for healthy money habits, budgeting, and saving. Additionally, we assist in accessing public benefits like food stamps & housing aid. Our career services include job training, resume building, interview prep, GED testing & classes, and help with job placement.
